My therapist and I were doing a phone session, and I had the phone on mute. But for some reason, mute wasn’t working properly. I have no idea why. It always has in the past. Anyway, I flushed the toilet - and it is LOUD - and then I realized that mute wasn’t working properly. She had to have heard the whole thing. I am seriously so embarrassed.

This made me smile. I'm sure your T uses the toilet as well Things like this happen. I once had a snot on my glasses. It was in such a spot on my glasses that I didn't see it but everyone else did

Actually, when my transference is bad. I remind myself that my therapist is just a person and takes a s*** just like me. Works for me lol Dont feel bad.

Thanks for your support, guys. My T THANKFULLY didn’t say a word! My T is usually pretty tough and doesn’t let much escape her notice, so she totally knew what had happened, but she’s also kind and didn’t want to embarrass me, for which I’m very grateful. I’m sure it’ll never be mentioned again. I sure am never going to bring it up again!!!! Still, I can’t help cringing, cringing, cringing inside and turning beat red whenever I think of it. EEEKS.
