I was wondering where you were at! And to think you was just 4 hours away from here. Glad you're back and glad you got through the period in good shape and feel in even better shape now you're home.

New York did that for me too many years ago; I was afraid of my shadow but went to New York myself on the train (and I'd never ridden on a train) and stayed overnight, etc. and when I got home was almost begging buses to take me to the bad parts of Washington, DC (where I lived at the time) :-) I could suddenly go anywhere and do just about anything more easily/with more confidence.

What a nice trip, mouse. Welcome back!

It's cool you liked NYC. I have never been there and would like to go. I've heard it is very festive and exciting at holiday time. The skating in the snow sounds lovely.

Mouse you should be so proud of yourself. NY is where I am from. I can't imagine what it must be like for someone who is completely new to the city. That is a great accomplishment for you. And I'm really glad you had a good time. Helllloooo
