This forum can be so exhausting. It's no wonder I'm not a fan of real life interactions, I can barely stand the social online ones most days.

Yeah i had to learn to pick my battles. Online and IRL. I mean, people always SAY that, it's a cliché, but learning when to walk away is big.

My T would agree with you. He struggled more with online stuff.

In person has always been harder for me. I like the ability to be "anonymous" that comes with the online stuff.

I can't even conceive of the idea of a therapist with an exposed midriff.

One of my classmates posted this astronomy joke:

Q: Why haven't aliens visited our solar system?

A: They checked the reviews and we only have one star.

It was only a couple inches. One of those blouses you see at awards shows, they button across but then form a V towards the waist.

She claims there’s a specific phobia of the therapeutic relationship. Is that true, do you know?

And she says she had no idea cats didn’t like to be danced with.

As in Il riscaldamento non funziona.

Actually, the Romans called it hypocaustum. Which is a Latinisation of a Greek word. So presumably the Greeks invented it.

The earliest reference to such a system suggests that the temple of Ephesus in 350 BC was heated in this manner.

No - I know the pets would be well cared for (possibly spoiled even more than they are by me) by my friends if anything happened to me.

Not the Romans I know!

Eta - as in "non abbiamo il riscaldamento" - when i visited in 1972.

Eta2 - then they DID strap a potato to it and thats how gnocchi were invented!

Eta3 - time to cut the fat!

You're too harsh on yourself. Raising a child AND working full time is
already a huge achievement. I don't think your daughter will mind at all if the house doesn't look like it's ready for a photoshoot. Do what you can, nothing more nothing less.
