Years ago I saw a therapist for only one session because he was awful. It was at a bad time on a particular issue that he advertised himself as an expert on.

Now years down the line, I co-manage a local therapists' group and he has joined and offered to do a workshop on this issue. I'm pretty sure he doesn't remember me. My other co-manager knows (a close friend of mine) but the committee doesn't, and there's no real way I can be like "no" for no reason. So I guess I excuse myself for that session? I can't imagine sitting through that workshop knowing what a useless, insensitive arse the facilitator is.

That's a tricky one, Echoes. Sorry to hear.

Nearly going on 3 months without T and it's getting closer to my birthday...which always depresses me. This is gonna be a tough week to try to stay focused and not spiral.

A student is accusing me of writing trick questions because he thinks the words “site” and “level” mean the same thing. (The question uses “site” as in “archaeological site.”)

I am resisting calling him a moron or sending him a link to a dictionary.

Have fun!

I’m going outlet shopping today. (Well more window shopping. I won’t buy much) it’s going to be a whopping 48 degrees today which is much warmer than it’s been all week so today is a good day to get outside and get some air. Later H and I are going to a pub to get some bar food. I may or may not drink myself silly, but then I would blow my diet for the day if I do. Well you only turn 40 once, right? After dinner we are coming home and I plan to watch Mary Poppins Returns on my firestick. My house needs a good cleaning but I don’t care today. Life and responsibilities will resume tomorrow.

This is the most depressing thing I have heard all week.

When I get to the last academic year before I retire, it's going to be no-holds-barred on the students.

Gosh, the adults are louder than the kids in here. I'm about 2/3 of the way thru this chapter, learning about telescopes.

Una two docs you might like:

1. 100 vaginas

Possible trigger:

2.Eat Well for less- (watching others shop is oddly satisfying )

Gregg Wallace and Chris Bavin show a family how to spend less in the supermarket.

Actually I’m not sure who’s got it worse, @@ who has to deal with the...student is the politest word I can think of, or the student who will live their life thinking the people around them are constantly trying to trick them with vocabulary.
