You probably appreciate "nomnomnom" equally as much?

And, because I am extremely grumpy this morning - why would a woman want to look 27 if they were in their 50's? I would not want to be 27 or even 37 again for anything. We need more visibility of how women age gracefully and wonderfully and uniquely.
And since I am on a roll - the next person who says to me "you are X years young" had better be good at dodging out of the way. I had to stop a young idiot social worker from insulting a client of mine like that. Which I enjoyed.

It really bothers me when doctors say tummy to an adult. It's not all the time but when my OH was sick last year a couple of the doctors asked if she had a pain in her tummy. She is a grown woman, you are a Doctor. Seriously.

I don't want to be given a shot to prevent pneumonia - it is one of my fantasy preferred ways to go gently into that good night.

Honestly SD I don’t get the wanting to look younger, 27 sucked for me... maybe go back to college though... those were good years. I have just learned it is a social chick thing.
Personally I love the grey hair coming in (I earned those damn it!) and even though I am 42 I have great fun telling people I am a great grandmother! (My step son is only 6mo younger than me).

I do not wish to go back to 27, 37 or any age whatsoever. I would not want to go through all those years again. And besides I love who I am now more than I ever have before even if sometimes it may not seem like it. I am leaving my natural gray hairs alone now too. I earned mine as well! No more henna-ing for me.
Thanks for this!

Had to run to my session due to a demonstration (I take public transport and everything was shut down). T was very nice about it though, he brought me two glasses of water and let me relax before starting.

This is exactly my issue with Info’s outfits.

Info seems to have the uniquely part down.
The woman (I was told by the other person I knew who saw her) wore fishnet stockings (I never noticed but I rarely looked at her). She was in her 70s. I don't think she was trying to look younger - I think she just liked them.

But my real reaction and objection is to the idea that women have to look a certain way or dress a certain way to fit the expectations of others. I have no problem with someone of any age who wants to wear anything that they are happy with.

I didn't even notice what L was wearing yesterday. The couch is still there, though. Forgot to report back about that.

Hey couch peeps.
Is there anyone I can PM with to talk about my job offer and why I don’t trust it and get some feed back? I don’t really know if it matters if you have kids or not. It might be helpful but I’m more just curious if My thoughts are irrational of why I don’t totally trust it.

I don't have kids, but certainly have experiences with different jobs and job offers and so on, so maybe I can help and maybe I can't.... if you want to feel free to message me.
(Might take a second to reply though.)

Fishnet stockings are like wearing barbed wire on your feet. Or maybe its just because my chubby baby fat pokes thru all the net holes? Its like one of those onion choppers where you set the onion on top of a grate and push down.
