I see DBT T in a little while and I don’t really know what to say about feeling abandoned from her not contacting me back. She’s so quick say the things Ex T did wrong but I don’t feel like she really cares how I felt abandoned when she didn’t call or text me back these last few weeks. I don’t want their to be tension, but I’m afraid if I bring it up she will just get defensive. I also don’t feel like I can move on it from it without processing it with her. It has been 4 weeks since I saw the other psychologist I want to switch to and I don’t think they’ve talked yet. I’ll find out for sure today. It feels like I just went off her radar when I told her I wanted to switch and she doesn’t care about making it a smooth transition. I don’t know how much “grace” (not at all the right word but I can’t think of another) to give her for not being responsive since she’s pregnant and all vs how much frustration and hurt is warranted. I have no idea what’s happening with her pregnancy so I don’t want to be insensitive, which is my hesitancy and struggle in expressing how I feel.

According to my T (I’m not sure I believe him but I will pass it along) there are no limits or boundaries on how we feel, there are boundaries on what can be said or done.
I would be anxious going too. Maybe she will start off by telling you without you having to say anything.
Hugs

I think expressing all emotions are fine as long as I strive to stay in Wise Mind. Your feelings are valid. I wish I had more words of wisdom for you but just know I am rooting you on. I hope it goes well.

I hope it went well. Do you think she is having a "graduation" reaction, in which she thinks of you as having moved on? I hope she was supportive and present, and had a reasonable explanation.
