This is really hard. My therapist is on vacation for 3 weeks. It’s hard because I have a lot going on in my life right now. Also, she only gave me 2 weeks notice I mean I’ve forgiven her for that but it’s jusf hard. We communicate more now and I feel more attached to her than ever before and this break feels unbearable.

I think it's bs that she gave you shorter notice than the length of her vacation.

I'm sorry, therapy breaks are just awful. Mine is on a break as well. Would your t be open to letting you text or email her during the break? Has she spoken to you about self care and things that might help such as journalling, writing her letters to read on her return,, artwork, crisis planning? Would she be open to giving you something of hers to look after if that might help?

Previous therapists have not let me have contact with them during a break and it was really difficult but I did get through it. What helped me was to write to T everyday and present her with my writings on the first session back after the break. It help me knowing that she was going to read what I'd written.
