I have to start again with a new therapist and I just HATE the beginning of therapy. Its uncomfortable and tedious repeating my history for the millionth time to a person that Ive just met.
What about all of you? Do you like starting over or do you dislike it? |

I didn't mind interviewing therapists. While I was often horrified at how those guys presented themselves to clients, I did find it interesting to observe.

I just started with a new therapist three months ago, so far it has been very good. She seems to understand me and the goals i want to achieve. At first i thought it would not work out and over whelming. I find this one really looks at the whole picture instead of taking me right into the issue all at once. Her therapy approach is more compassion and there is some cbt but not so much. I really do not have much that i dis like right now so far it has been very good.

I dislike starting over. But when I saw a T that didn't fit well with me last year, I was glad to leave and start over with a T that fit better with me.

I dread it so much that if i ever have to start over again, I doubt I would. If my current therapy doesn't improve my life I am so done with therapy.
