I think you should definitely ask again. I know it will be hard, though - it would be for me as I hate asking for help. However, you are living off of savings. Unless you have a ton of savings or you mean you are retired, which it doesn't sound like you mean, it seems like it would be reasonable to ask. Would it be possible to ask for a discounted rate for your sibling, too?

I think you could definitely be an important person in your sister's children's (sorry, I can't remember if she has any boys or all girls) lives - especially since your sister has some issues that have interfered with her parenting before. I'm not trying to be overly critical of your sister, but I think having an extra person they can depend on would be great. I know it's not the same as having children of your own, but you can be very special to them if you want to be.

When I first met R I paid around £320 a month when going twice a week . I didn't technically work either and all the money was from savings/ handouts from my father/ relatives. He still saw me at his lower rate.

Trying to get up the gumption to go to a birthday party alone for a friend I haven't seen in a long time. We actually met when we were both inpatient like two years ago. The party looks like it'd be really fun--it's karaoke--but I don't know any of his friends and would be going alone because my other friend from inpatient is busy this evening. I might just take him out for a drink later.

Omg! L sent me the sweetest email ever! She called me precious and signed it "love". I love her more and more. And it's scary. I'm so vulnerable with her. She can easily hurt me now. But she says she won't abandon me or leave me. I know that "leave me" doesn't mean she won't move, but she'll stay in my life. Why is it that I find such good "caretakers" in my life, but I've never found a really good friend? And everyone who has ever said they love me has hurt me, used me, abused me, or abandoned me. And I don't mean a simple hurt/misunderstanding. I mean like stabbing me in the back type hurt. It's scary to me to love and be loved by someone.

Or any size potato fan if that will relieve the tension. I don't hate them, I just don't love them or really like them. If I have to eat a potato - I usually choose sweet potatoes. But it rarely comes up as a mandatory thing.

Today has been so rough. I went to my mom's for one of my brother's 21st birthday, and cried on the way home. Kept thinking to myself Trick or treating at the mall was stressful with H. He didnt letnus finish or go outside to do crafts because he swore there wasn't anything else and he was done. I punched my door this evening out of anger too

A transformer box exploding just woke me up. It might have gotten struck by lightning. It was maybe several hundred feet away? So like really loud and really bright, but with significant geography between us, but close enough to make me think of California. Of course tho here it is wet, been raining all day. But it kept popping off. Ive never seen it do that before. Scared the pee outa me.
