They are blowing off all of my important questions and I tried to be patient and respectful but they are blowing me off and it hurts. So there is no chance of getting answers right now because they are about to close for the weekend.

Finally I called and T answered and we talked almost a minute but it was good. I asked him if they could please try to get me in earlier.

Glad you're not quitting Hope.
It's hard to keep going but quitting isnt the answer in my opinion.

I've wanted to quit at times.
But I have come a long way and dont want to backslide into my old behaviors.

Hang in.
Thanks for this!

I am hanging in there even though it’s rough. It’s a lot happening in my life and there are so many things that I want to talk to T about but my brain doesn’t seem to be able to put it all together and I want to tell T how much pain I am in but I don’t know where to begin.

Maybe go to your next session, and start with those words. 'I want to tell you how much pain I'm in, but I don't know where to begin.'

Who is “they?” Office staff? Or your therapist? And what were your questions? (if you don’t mind disclosing.).
I’m just trying to put your post into context.
Thanks for this!

Try to remember that office staff aren't trained therapists and may not always understand or respond as you'd like. Hang in there and wait to see your T. Take a few deep breaths and think your mind/brain is going off and upsetting you.

I think most of the appointments were appointment related and some of it I don’t remember because I was so upset.

Exactly, I’ve been very upset twice in the last 2 weeks from letting my mind get all spun up in worst case scenarios and everything else. My mind did calm down after I got my anxiety and ADHD meds from the pharmacy.

I was SO relieved when I called the office last night and T answered and he sounded so kind in his voice. So that helped me stop worrying about that.

I have some more things to talk about so I will stop by this thread in a little bit.

I want to thank you all for listening and for being there. You are all amazing.

I’m really glad that I have T in my life. He has been there through the tough stuff that even my family doesn’t understand.

I had some tragic news tonight when a guy I knew died tragically in a motel room earlier this afternoon. I’m still in shock.
