Since we had to have sessions over the phone or Skype, T has always been 1 or 2 minutes late.

She usually initiates the call. She always ends the session dead on time so I don't think it is a problem with her clock.

When we were having face to face sessions I always made an effort to show up on time. I know one or two minutes is not that big of a deal but still, being late is being late.

My T usually runs 3-5min late and, once 25min late! I am a very timely person as it was a huge deal in my family. Personally I just take it as part of the quirks of who T is, he is human... sometimes very human. The only time T and I talked about it was the time he was really late as it made me very anxious and he was very embarrassed/ashamed of having run that far over. He felt that with his level of experience he should have scheduled a break after that session knowing it would be difficult to be timely.
I also know he has gotten a little worse now that he is doing mostly teletherapy. Having only worked face to face for 30ish years there is a different rhythm to teletherapy he just has not gotten a grasp on.
BUT... consideration goes both ways! While he always ends sessions right around an hour after they start he has always been very generous with his time on the phone or email. If he were charging me by the minute for phone calls/email I think I would be far less patient with him disrespecting my time.

My T always sends me the link for the video session 8-15 minutes early which I find slightly annoying since I’m not always ready to do the session that early. But yeah I should talk to her if feel like it.

Even though they send the link early, they don't mean for you to join early. My t sends me the link sometime earlier in the week... sometimes two days before, sometimes the morning of, sometimes ten minutes before start time. That is only to make sure that I have the link on time.
But I don't click on the link until the actual time of my session. We still start and finish on the hour.
maybe your T doesn't mean for you to click on the link until it is time for your appt too.
Thanks for this!
