I don't feel good and I don't really understand why. It has something to do with J and T but that's all I know.

I hope you didn't try a Saturday one! They get harder each day from Monday thru Sunday.

Nobody has mentioned my favorite New York Times puzzle, which is the spelling bee. I do think you have to subscribe to the extra puzzle thing to get it, though.

I love the Spelling Bee! They let you do up to "Solid" level for free...and being cheap, I don't subscribe.

It was a Thursday puzzle. It took me one hour and 12 minutes to complete. I think some of the clues were backwards though. One of the clues was "talks little" the answer was "chats" isn't chatting talking? that one took me forever. I only had the puzzle fill in one word for me, so not too bad for my first time.

The "little" is the clue. Chatting is talking, but it's small (=little) talk--so "talks little."

See this is where if it wasn't in English I might have done better. I thought "talks little" would be "quiet"

RANT: I’m so fed up with my therapist’s office! It literally took me 2 months to get ahold of someone in the billing department, and even then they didn’t call like I asked and will only email. I left 2 voicemails and emailed 3 times.

I met my out of pocket maximum back in May and they’ve still been charging me for every session since then, even though my insurance has been paying them the full negotiated rate since May. There have been other issues too with overcharging for sessions.

I sent the billing department a long email explaining everything, and I’m afraid it might sound a little b*tchy Couch 217: The Order of the Phoenix couch

If I didn’t really like my therapist I would just quit because the office is so frustrating.

HUGS Summer!!!! I met my out of pocket maximum in February but since my T can't figure out how to bill the insurance, I'm still paying her the copay. Frustrating as all get out! I hear you! I hear you!

That sounds frustrating for both of you. Dealing with insurance is bad enough, the provider's office should at least be on your side!

I was trying to pay my T but found out that my insurance is waiving copays for telehealth sessions during the pandemic. I am grateful for that since it's not like we have a real choice in the matter.

They should put "pregnant wife" warnings in the fantasy baseball draft, as Mike Trout is now out on paternity leave. And my second draft pick (I think), Stephen Strasburg, has been "day to day" since the season started. Ah well, I imagine the season will be shut down soon anyway.

I see why if you chose that puzzle for the first one it might throw you. I'm pretty sure all of the clues are reversed and/or topsy-turvy in some way. Tricky in a way you're not expecting to be tricked. I'm not sure why it not being in English would make it easier though. Is English not your first language?

Barring complications, paternity leave is only 3 days. So you should be able to roster him next week, and he's worth it even if he only plays a few days. (I'm assuming you're in a weekly league.)

Thanks, seems like it's an every 11 days league? Like I'm playing this opponent for 11 days (currently winning, but we'll see...). Maybe it was adapted for the current season (8-team league)?

It's probably 11 days just for the first period, because the season started mid-week. It'll likely be a week going forward after the first period ends on Sunday.

Why do some comedians think it's funny to joke about emotional and physical abuse?

Dude talking about arguing with his wife and they always tried to go for a win. She would win if she shed a tear. He would win by treating her like a heckler. Wife says "I'd rather you hit me than say all these mean and cruel things to me." Punchline is "She lied! I love that joke".

I'm now irrationally angry at a youtube video and all the people that thought that joke was funny.

Cats are who they are. Only one of mine ever liked high places. And one was the picture of dainty, self-contained perfection--except she always pushed over glasses of water if they were left on a table. Very deliberately. I think she found water curious visually. and every time she did it, she seemed surprised that it "disappeared." Always an adventure!
