MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING (about my relative):
Possible trigger:

Thankful that Dr. T sees clients on Sundays and could fit me in tomorrow. Because this is pretty triggering to me, even though I wasn't that close to him.

I sent P an email yesterday that I was struggling, as he told me I could, and asked for some reassurance that I would actually get to talk to a real person Monday (he's been on vacation for a week). He responded that he was sorry I was struggling, that unless there were flight delays we'd meet soon, and concluded with "hang in there". That hang in there just feels so ... something to me and it's bugging me. Oh well.

I feel proud of my adopted city when I watch the videos from downtown. If I thought my knees could physically take it, I would definitely go down there tonight and take my federally sponsored tear gassing. Apparently they're also using some sort of projectile pepper powder that burns/leaves welts on your skin when you're hit with it.

ETA: That's not the only reason I don't go. I think I would find the police presence triggering as it would remind me of the night of the fire. And the anger and crowds and noise would feel overwhelming. I wish I could just put all that aside and go anyway.

New cat just caught lone dog and me watching puppy videos.

How does an 8.5 lb. cat rule this place so thoroughly?

I know not everyone needs to protest. Everything is just making me angry. This is all happening 6 miles from my house, a handful of city blocks from my therapist's building, and I'm just sitting at home doing nothing. The way they beat that Navy vet for just standing there and he took the beating and flipped them the bird afterwards? Snatching people off the streets into unmarked vehicles by people in military garb? Tear gassing the Wall of Moms who are peacefully protesting? How is any of this okay? Well now there's a wall of Moms and Vets and Dads and Nurses and Lawyers. I just honestly hope that the country is taking note because these federal military squads are headed to your cities next.

Your voice is beautiful, Chihiro! You're getting on really well with the mandolin.
