I don't.
But I hardly wear makeup anywhere. I think my T does but just about the right amount, you don't notice it, it's light. |

Usually, not a lot but some. Sometimes I skip eye makeup if I think I'm probably going to cry a lot.

I wore it to in-person therapy. Now, for video therapy, I usually put on lipstick only, as I have really pale lips. It's funny that one time (in person), my T was like, "You look different today." Me: "I do?" T: "Are you wearing makeup?" T: "I always wear makeup." T: "Oh!"

No, but I rarely wear makeup anywhere for the past several years. If I do put on makeup, it is a coincidence if I also attend therapy.
ETA - the therapist does not wear makeup.

nope. I rarely wear makeup. I only wear it on special occasions and since I go directly from work to therapy there is no special occasion.

It depends how I feel or how I want to be seen. T never comments on how I look though.

Yes, because I generally came from work. I may run to the grocery store without makeup, but work, church, etc. definitely require some makeup for me.

I haven't worn make up for a hundred years. I would dislike working with a therapist who used make up. I wouldn't trust her.

I never wear make up. I don't know if either of the two I hired wore it or not. If I had to guess - I would guess the first one did but I really didn't notice one way or the other about either of them.

I think I’ve only gone like once without makeup. I generally always wear some makeup when going out though, unless I’m just going to the store or something. Last session my T commented I looked more dressy than usual and was like, “makeup different?” Idk why I thought that was funny. I didn’t think he noticed those things.

Nah, I haven't worn make-up in many years. Ah, once in a great while I'll wear a bit of powder on my t-zone. I do wear some light lipstick, but it always wears off quickly.
My T doesn't wear make-up except once in a great while she wears a light blush on her cheekbones. When she does that, I know she's had to go somewhere special for lunch.

I don’t usually wear makeup. I did to T once because our appointment was right after a date with H. T was really confused... but not as confused as when I showed up in work clothes (loose Khaki work pants and a polo, both bulky and masculine).

I don't wear makeup ever, so no. One T definitely wears makeup because I let her hold my baby in session once and there was a bit of makeup smudged on the baby's sleeper when we got home. I think the other therapist usually wears makeup too because she "warned".me that she wouldn't be wearing makeup if she did a video session from the beach. (I did not notice a difference, though.)

I do, though not specifically for therapy. I wear light makeup whenever I'm out for extended periods of time. I've also been wearing it for video sessions.

These are interesting answers, I would have guessed most people wore make up. Now I'm thinking I was wrong and people are just naturally beautiful. I wish I was, If I don't wear make up people tell me I look sick or tired!

Most people I work with wear makeup every day to work. I don't think that is unusual. I haven't been wearing makeup since I've been at home most of the time, and I still don't bother just to run to the store or something. But at work, church, meetings, just to feel a bit more comfortable out, I definitely wear makeup. I have rosacea, I'm in my late 50s - makeup is my normal in normal times. I don't see it as I am not "naturally beautiful" - I don't particularly get hung up about my "beauty" anymore - but I do know I feel more put together and comfortable, and yes, look less tired.

I don't wear make up as a rule so I don't to therapy apart from on very rare occasions when I'm going out somewhere nice shortly afterwards. I don't see myself as naturally beautiful at all, very far from it, I just don't feel make up is something I want to bother with everyday.

Oh and neither of my Ts have worn makeup. Current T is a tomboy and long term T didnt wear it often. I saw it once where as soon as we were done our meeting, she was going out to a nice dinner with her partner

I also tend to look rather sick and tired without makeup due to having fair skin and, as mentioned before, pale lips. |

And my T doesn't wear makeup (that I know of!), but he tends to be pretty well-groomed, like I'm pretty sure he uses hair product of some kind. And probably beard product. He also appears to dye his beard (and probably hair) because sometimes some gray will show in there, but then it will be gone. I like it better with the gray!
Ex-T wore makeup and generally looked very polished and pulled together. Ex-MC was...not. |
