He also asked me about the shirt I was wearing today, saying he hadn't seen me wear it before and asking about it (a T-shirt with a rainbow that looks painted on, with one of the stripes being a leopard print). It is the first time I've worn it, so he pays attention. I said how I'd gotten it really cheap at this one online boutique where I shop (like $14 on clearance). He said he's not used to seeing me in a T-shirt, that I'm usually wearing different sorts of shirts. (Even though they're all fairly casual?)

My coworker is sad today. I've been texting with her this morning and she just sent back a crying face emoji. I don't know what to do to cheer her up. I would send her a gift card for Starbucks but she told me not to spoil her like that anymore so IDK. I'm just trying to be there but it's hard bc I don't really know what is going on. So I'm just taking a shot and emailing quotes and texting Bible passages. Trying to comfort her. It's hard when someone lets you in a little bit but not enough to really help them. I feel helpless to help her and that bites

Your shirt sounds cute! I bet my T couldn't tell me the last thing I wore in therapy. Then again, I don't remember the last thing I wore in therapy! I do remember she was in some purple outfit with black flowers in her hair and black flip flops. (It was an emergency appointment because usually she wears regular shoes.) It was weird to see her toes!

In session the other day my T and I were both wearing hoodies, so I made a joke about how it was "hoodie day" at work. He of course asked me how I felt about our being dressed similarly.

OMG, he actually asked you how you felt about being dressed similarly?!!

On occasion, I've matched a T. Say like both wearing black shirts and tan pants or something like that. I usually say something like, "Hey we match!" And then there are smiles all around and then you know, on to business. Never once have I had one ask how I felt about it. I wouldn't know what to think. It's not something I feel one way or the other about. It's just a neat coincidence!

Well, it tied into how I relate to him and other people in general, so it's not that awful. But it's still such a cliché therapist line.

Grateful PC is back up and running!

I've matched recently with the guy I liked and I pointed it out to him. We were both wearing plain red shirts and jeans.

I have a virtual court appearance to renew my restraining order in 10 minutes. I'm not sure why I'm so anxious about it.

Yay PC is back up!

Hugs NP. Hoping it goes well and gives you some peace.

Just got home from seeing L. Good session as usual. I find that I don't cry as easily or at all while wearing a mask, how odd that is. I felt like I wanted to cry at one point, my voice was cracking a little as I spoke even, and I thought I would cry but no tears came. I did a sand tray, she said she would be cleaning/disinfecting the stuff after I left. So I went ahead and did it. That hour goes by SO fast. I wish I could have had another hour today. Oh well, I see her again on Wednesday after work.

Our COVID tests came back negative (for everyone) late last night so all of us were able to return to work today - which was great!

Sometimes I wonder how I'd see the world if I were a raccoon. Would people shoo me away from their trash cans or would they give me their sneakers to wash?

Hugs, NP, I can definitely see it being stressful. But maybe it's better that you can just do it online instead of having to go to the courthouse?

His fever broke yesterday - he got up and went to work this morning but came home early stating that his head hurt and he was shaky (gee, sure wish he'd take care of his diabetes like I've been asking him to). But he's been cooking and acting normal at home so I do think he's feeling much better. Thanks!
