And T's here tend to be expensive (and many, including mine, are out of network, so I have to pay 40% or more of their fee). Dr. T has said I could take a break at any time and come back, so I suppose that's a possibility? Or maybe if I saw him once a week and another T once a week, that could work out? I don't know...

The one I scheduled an intake with Wednesday does schema therapy, among other things, and I've been told that could be good for me. And very different from what Dr. T does, so perhaps could make sense to be seeing both at the same time? I don't know.
I'm in schema therapy and it's helping me a lot with my personality disorder from complex trauma. It's good for long term chronic issues too.

The therapist tries to build a secure attachment base so attachment is important in the modality.

Oh, I forgot that was the kind of therapy you're in. Good to know it's helping you and that attachment is part of it.

That's a nope for me, and not just because I'm vegetarian. I guess they're high protein?

I actually ate a fair amount of bug-based stuff when I lived in Southeast Asia for a while--not nearly as gross as it sounds!

I'll hear about the government thing this December hopefully. I did some of the authoritisation stuff but I will need to convince the psychiatrist (different one) to put in what's needed.

I'm applying quite broadly yeah. Outside of IT, but still loosely customer centric roles since that's generalisable. Office admin positions too.

Just got an email about a zoom interview by a maritime company who needs IT staff.

Good luck with the interview.

Just also wanted to say I'm super proud of you for moving out and away from your family.

I saw a video once where they were deep-frying tarantulas as a snack. Huge nope for me.

That'd be a solid "nope" from me too--I'm adventurous, but not that adventurous!

By stopdog logic, though, that would keep the vampyrs/therapists away.

I watched an odd but enjoyable movie on amazon prime last night, "Hotel Artemis." I'm still trying to figure out why the "hotel" was named for Artemis.

Wow...he does look crotchety.

What's in his pocket? His house keys? His platinum Mastercard? His little black book?

He's miffed because I won't let him sit in my lap.

Hahaha! He has minions for opening doors and purchasing items like coats and treats. It's just so he can lord it over the other cats that he has a pocket and they don't.

Ok, Couch dreamers...I had a dream that I was flying, horizontal arms back by my side wind in my hair, which was pretty cool. Then I was getting pelted by something small and realized I was flying through a swarm of thousands and thousands of honeybees. They weren't trying to sting me, just flying across my path and running into me. Or I was flying across theirs, I suppose. No idea what that was about...any thoughts?
