I emailed them once when they wouldn't accept nori or coir as words. Their response was something along the lines of no words that are too profession specific and blah blah blah some other stuff - sorry I couldn't find the email. (Is nori sushi chef specific???) Basically, they blew me off. Maybe homophage is too profession specific for them.

Karen was a top 3 baby name in 1965. Only.

So that would make those Karens um 55 today. Which is kinda older than i was stereotyping.

My name never made the list, since like the 1920's. But my nemesises - nemeses? - did.

If my name was a virus, the popularity graph would look like a curve that needed to be flattened. (I got the name before it took off, though.)

Nemeses. It’s third declension.

Apologies for this random question, but does anyone know (or has had experience with) a bruised facial nerve? I had a minor accident three days ago and hit my cheekbone rather hard. Now part of my face on that side is a little numb. Does anyone know how long it takes to go away? I went to the ER and was seen by a doctor, but it was less bad then because it was fresh and less swollen (no fracture though).
