Intense emotional pain. Basically a lot of grief over losing my immediate and extended family. I didn't even like them except 2 of my siblings, so why am I hurting?

Rupture with T is sorted at least. I also forgot AGAIN which days and times she works. No chance for an earlier session as she has Wednesday and Thursday off.

My brother did a mission trip on Papua New Guinea a number of years ago. He really loved his time there and didn't want to come back after.

My exam is on thursday.

Possible trigger:

I called my old best friend R in tears. We fell out three years ago and didn't talk to each other in between that time. We made up in july last year. I've known her since first year- but I still didn't expect her to come over straight away.

We walked outside my building, I was in my pajamas and it began to pour down with rain so we got soaked. I'm grateful for her and for everyone here who also kept me afloat.

I composed an email to R but haven't sent it yet. Edit: sent it now

I have an uncle who said he encountered headhunters also, during WWII, i believe, in Africa?

Lana del Rey has this lyric that comes to mind for me now reading your post :" Can you picture it that life we could've lived?"

Glad you made up with T.

Current song that I have playing:

I just air fried some bacon for h, I enjoy cooking it that way it's so easy and every batch comes out perfect. I started putting 2 pieces of bread underneath the air fryer basket to absorb the grease and that makes it so easy to clean up, too.

Thank you artie bean.

It really did help a bit. Firstly in the wood behind the building then

We walked until I got too cold.

I was wearing my Christmas PJ's on the bottom and my T shirt that says London with the British flag Whenever I went somewhere special (British museum / London Dungeons etc) with my little sister. We'd wear this T shirt (she has the same one ) , put on accents and pretend to be tourists.

I went to the London Dungeons years ago. That place is a bit creepy.

I remember having the **** scared out of me when I thought I was standing near a wax figure but then it moved.

I would agree. I first went as an 11 year old and couldn't remember much of it. I liked the Jack the Ripper stuff and seeing what it would be like during the height of the Black death. but mainly also how much the actors really got into the roles .

How's therapy with P? Have you worked on an end date?

I got a letter and an updated picture of my sponsored child Yordanos who lives in Ethiopia. I sponsor her through Compassion International. She is so pretty. Her letter was so precious. She is four, nearly five. Her last picture was from when she was three so she has really grown! She went from looking like a baby to looking like a little girl. She is going to school now, she is in KG-1 and her favorite subject is English! I'm so proud of her. Just wanted to share. It made my day! I pinned up her newest picture on my wall at work and printed a second one to go home with me where I can put it in a frame. (We are allowed to print things for home use or copy things for home use as long as it is not more than 10 pages.)

The latest update I had was that the fall semester will have the option to be online, so we probably have until the end of the year. Other than that it's going okay. We had a really intense session last Friday that focused on my childhood/parents where he was more brutally honest than he usually is. Trying to figure out how I feel about the things he said. We had a phone session yesterday and will meet in person tomorrow and I think we'll still have a lot to talk through and process.

Last night i dreamed i found an injured platypus which i took home and was trying to find someone to help me, well Jeff Goldblum turns up and wouldnt you know it he knew all about platypuses and even where to find a vein to take blood. Anyway it up with me being disappointed because i couldnt take care of the platypus an some woman turned up and took it away. I think Jeff Goldblum is in there because i follow Sam Neill on Twitter and ther are several photos of him and Jeff in Sydney Australia this week. At my favourite place in Sydney to boot.

I live in Southern California so the cost of living is quite high. Luckily I live with my parents so that helps. But out of this $400 I am going to have to pay for three doctor's appointments and a vet bill and have enough spending cash for groceries and other necessities. It's not bad, it's just not great. The second half of the month (I get paid twice a month) I have less money than the first half of the month. It just takes some budgeting. I do have some in savings if I need it for Esther's vet appointment but likely my Dad will put it on his card and let me pay him in installments if it is a big amount. Hopefully it's like $150 or so. That's doable with what I have left after my bills this time.

Edit: If her vet bill is like $500, I'm screwed! I'll have to ask my Dad to front it or get some money out of savings.
