I had my session today with my therapist. I seemed to be more open and teared up a few times. I really feel that she understands how abandon I felt when she was on sick leave. My therapist was not allowed to keep intouch with her clients or come to the office during her time off. Also She really felt that everyone even day program staff could of been more supportive and understanding for me. For 3 months it was tough for me to reach out for help and was only offered to attend a CBT zoom group, it was not til late June I called for someone to talk to and that was not easy for me. It's been good for me to talk it through with her and have someone understand me.
She is off on holidays for a couple weeks I am so happy she is going on vacation and hope she can just take the time to relax. This year has been tough on her having covid19, not being able to return to work when she wanted to. I see her in 3 weeks. We have agreed to me not getting a grief counsellor right now as my trauma and everything is surfacing right now. I feel better now that im opening up more and more even though I hate how im feeling right now. |

It sounds like it was a good session, which is great, but now she's off again, on holiday and I know you don't begrudge her that but it just feels like she just got back. Post here if it helps. HUGS Kit
