So, now it turns out that termination might be sooner than a year

I found out T isn't feeling well and has been having recurrent issues since after her cancer surgery. She told me last week that if she feels she can't work another year, she will retire sooner. Mind you, she HAS NOT given me the 1 year's notice, yet. I just feel like every two weeks, I wonder if the next therapy session is the one in which she DOES give notice. I hope she gets better and I hope I get at least one year's notice. Otherwise, I think I may need weekly sessions (I've been seeing her biweekly for years, after many years, in the beginning, of weekly. I guess as I've gotten "better," we agreed on biweekly, at some point.

I don't even know if she can fit me in twice a week, since she only works 2.5 days per week.

Oh, that sucks, cool. I'm very sorry and hope she get's well again.

I'm also sorry to hear this. Could you maybe ask about switching to weekly sooner than later, so that if she does end up having to give you less notice, you'd have more time to wrap up your work together?
