Thank you for being there

Since starting psychotherapy, it really helped me to come here and read what everyone was experiencing with their Ts. I feel grateful I could ask you all your opinions, and have enjoyed being part of some conversations. I am very lonely in my life and for some reason just cannot fix that, no matter what I try. Lately everything has become unbearably painful and I am at a dead end with it all. Before I leave I just wanted to say thanks and how much I enjoyed being part of something, even if it was just in a small way.

I apologize if I'm reading between the lines incorrectly, but if you're feeling suicidal, I hope you continue to post here for support and reach out to your therapist. If you don't feel you can reach out to your therapist, reach out to a crisis line or warm line. I too feel unbearably lonely and lost a significant portion of the time, so I think I understand where you're coming from.

Lost, I too have found this place helpful at many points in time and you were part of that. I hope we both continue to feel this forum is a supportive, safe space. Everyone here is open to listen to you, I'm sure!

I'm also unsure if I'm reading between the lines correctly, or if you're just choosing to leave the forum (they'll likely delete this thread if that's the case). But I hope you can stay safe--please post here as much as you need, reach out to your T, crisis lines (I know they can be of limited use), and anyone in your life that you trust.

I just wanted to add my thoughts to the others here Lost. This place is invaluable, especially to those of us who are isolated irl for whatever reason. I hope you will have the strength to reach out for support if you are feeling suicidal. Everyone is here for each other, and we are here for you.

I've struggled with severe and chronic loneliness for a long time, where truly no one would care if I died. And for several reasons, have not been ever able to build even a small circle of offline friends for most of my life for longer than a couple of years.

At times, this forum was one of the only place I felt a little less judged with regards to my struggles. Particularly as I'm reminded that being isolated IRL doesn't mean no one cares.

I've read many posts without ever making a comment, and I'm writing this to tell you that you do matter, and that people care about the pain you're in. People would care if you're suicidal. There's been people who just vanish from these forums and I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering what happened, hoping they're okay.

Please keep posting if you're suicidal.

Oh Lost, please keep talking to us if you’re in a dark place. I know that devastating and despairing feeling of complete loneliness. I experience it every day as well. I have no family or friends. It’s more distressing than I can ever explain so I understand what terrible pain you must be in right now and my heart goes out to you. But please know your posts on here have helped so many of us and you’re wanted here. Thinking of you.

I relate to what you are saying, please continue to post here as much as you need to! I feel like I too have benefited from your experience and what you share with us on here. I echo what the others are saying, you are valued and very much wanted here. Hugs!

I'm lonely too. You're not alone with that. Please keep posting. I see your name around a lot and value your posts.
