On Monday I got a card from my therapist who has been on LOA for two months. I don't know if it's good bye it's confusing me. Here is what she wrote me in the card.

" I hope all is going well for you now that you have some answers about the stressful things in your life. All the best to you & a speedy recovery to your husband."

She has been getting my mood journals still I drop them off for her at a coffee shop and I have not been doing very well lately with my husband and stress.

Hugs, Taylor. That's sweet of her to give you the card. Is there any possibility of meeting with her again? I mean, it doesn't sound like she was suggesting that in the card, but it also doesn't necessarily sound like a final good-bye.

I hope your husband starts doing better and that things get less stressful for you.

Thank you, Yes until I got the card we had planned on meeting at the library before my husband got admitted. To the hospital.

Now that my husband is home and recovering im sure we will be meeting soon. I don't think she would say good bye like this. I am dissociating from the stress of my husband so my take on the card, it sounded like she was saying good bye. Thank you there are different meanings to all the best.

It didn't strike me as her saying goodbye. I hope if she meant she was going to stop seeing you, she would be clear about that.

I think I misunderstood what she meant in the card. I think she would say good bye in a better way. I know her and it's very unlikely. It's been so hard not seeing her for therapy and with her job it's been very tough on her to keep intouch with me. There is allot that I have left out. One thing is that she has stayed intouch with me and has allowed me to continue to journal for her.

I agree. It doesn't sound like a goodbye. It sounds like a very sweet way to check-in with you.
