She told me that she would be leaving and Friday was her last day at the end of the session she open the door I got up and walked over to her and ask her if I could hug her she smiled and said yes u can I hugged her and then I started to crying like a little baby she put her hands on my shoulders and said r u OK I smiled and i said I'm ok. So now I got to start all over again with a new therapist and I'm afraid to start over again I hope this new therapist is cool like my old one was

I'm sorry you have to start working with a new therapist.
It's good that you had a positive experience around the end of this therapeutic relationship.

I've read other people say here that you're not starting over, you're starting with all the experience you had whilst working with your other T.

Please take care,

Lost

So sorry you've had this news @Bamafan007 I know how upsetting it can be when a therapist stops working and you have to look for another T. I wish you luck finding someone suitable whom you like just as much.

Glad that you were able to get a hug. I can still remember many years ago when I tried to hug my Therapist at the end of our session and she told me that she didn't do hugs, it still bothers me even to this day
