Hugs, Lemon. I'm sorry you weren't able to work things out with Fin but it sounds like you could still go back to him if/when you are ready to at some point? Re: the new T, I get it not wanting to be locked into a contract but in an opposite kind of way - I don't want to feel locked into open-ended therapy.

I'm back from my walk and getting ready to dive back into my writing. I had a rather big aha in my session yesterday (about how my tendency to over-worry serves me) and that is my topic of the day.
I cooked a quite delicious breakfast for myself - scrambled egg whites with leftover street taco chicken, spinach, avocado, & salsa. |

Sorry if y'all are tired of my crochet posts. I started this today for my sister's wife, I hope she likes it! It's very bright! The solid color looks blue on my computer screen but it's actually a purple that matches the purple in the variegated. Hope I can get it done before I go visit them later this month!

I'm watching that Apple show (based on the podcast) the shrink next door.
I'm on episode 3 at the moment. How the Shrink Next Door therapist convinced a millionaire to hand over his mansion and money then work as his handyman | The Sun __________________ Last edited by Lemoncake; May 07, 2023 at 01:28 PM.. |

I got to spend some time this morning with my friend again (the one who's been in town for a couple weeks) before they hit the road this week to continue their travels. We met for breakfast and brought our hubbies along this time. Great company and good food! We've been friends since we met at work some 35 years ago. Oh the stories we could (and do) tell on each other when we get together ahahaha!

Hugs, NP. I had something similar happen in 2021 (though with only a few months in between). It really sucked. See if your doctor is willing to prescribe you Provera, a fairly high dose of progesterone that you take for 5-7 days.
Possible trigger:
Other things: iron supplements can help (not just to replace lost iron), as can Vitamin C supplements--ideally with bioflavonoids (Sundown makes a good gummy that's available on Amazon). So can turmeric supplements and Vitamin A (I did a lot of googling when I had it!) I had maybe one other month like that, but haven't had issues since (they're becoming much less frequent). Those supplements can also help with preventing the issues in the future. As can a low dose of progesterone (without estrogen--I can only take progesterone anyway because I get migraines with aura, which makes estrogen risky). |

NP you can get maternity pads which are thicker and more absorbent than normal regular pads. It might allow you to at least sleep a bit better.

I got to episode 5- it was hard to watch him being taken advantage of incrementally. Who wouldn’t want to be friends with their T when you’re so vulnerable?

Dad's birthday went well! He liked all the gifts we gave him. He even cried (good cry) looking at the scrapbook of his dog who passed away. And his dachshund cupcakes were perfect!

My doctor ordered some bloodwork and called in prescriptions for iron, vitamin c and naproxen, which supposedly can help with bleeding. I now need a computer to determine my medication and eating schedules. I can't take iron and my thyroid med within 4 hours of each other. Both have to be taken on an empty stomach. The iron is twice a day. In any case, things seem to be levelling off today. I hope it continues to do so because I feel like a zombie today between not enough sleep and likely some level of anemia.

I forgot about naproxen (or ibuprofen) helping--I'm allergic, so wasn't thinking of those. That sounds like a complicated regimen. I'm glad things seem to be leveling off and hope they continue to improve. |
