I thought I was okay, but the truth is I'm not.

The female trauma therapist I messaged before said she is pretty much away for the whole of august. The other guy who I saw for a one off consult who was really good isn't available.

I could have a session with someone new on friday at 6.45pm. Thinking of doing it, but I feel so hopeless.

I also donated 57% of the money I got back from my Fin refund.

My mental health is so much worse since I stopped gym, don't have the energy to start that up again right now.

The person two doors down has become a DIY enthusiast. I can't open my windows at all. Just constant drilling and thumping.

Do you have any local grocery stores? Perhaps it could be just a walk to get a drink from there. Doesn't have to be anywhere in particular.

There's a few art therapists on youtube too. You could buy paint or those mindful colouring books.

eta: only did 2 more then took a hot shower. I think I'm tired enough to sleep now without lying awake worrying half the night.

12 loads in one evening is my record so far I told h when he got home from his job and he said what are you trying to do to yourself? I told him honestly, I needed to DO something so I wouldn't sit on the couch and worry.
Congrats on the heavy labour. Well done this sounds pretty tough though!

it was hard work but good at the same time; manual labor every evening helped me keep my mind off my medical stuff and tired me out so I could sleep without tossing and turning all night. Tomorrow is the dr and I will get more info then and get my questions answered.

Also about glasses: just came back from my diabetic eye exam. All is good! I kind of failed the distance reading test even with my glasses. Guess I'll be needing a new pair.

I think G might be a no-go. We had just established an email response expectation: he replies before 2pm the next day unless he tells me otherwise. I emailed him last night, and he hasn't responded yet... And L has been cc'ed on all our emails, plus she helped me write this last email. So I don't think I did anything wrong? All I did was ask for clarification about when emails get charged and told him his use of the word "cold" hurt me. Maybe L (and I) are just trying to make something work that isn't meant to?

I'm sorry, Scarlet. Is it possible that he meant he'd start doing that once L is on leave and you're seeing him regularly? Rather than now? I'd see what he says in response, too, in case he had a good reason (like an emergency or something). But I can also understand how this makes you doubt working with him. Maybe you could start looking into other options, in case it doesn't work out?
Thanks for this!

I'm kinda resting on L for other options. Maybe the one person I'm trying to stay away from, J, is the person who is meant to be? I wish these next 7 months would fly by and I don't have to deal with this anymore!

I'm sorry, Scarlet. I don't think you did anything wrong. And I would have been hurt by the use of the word "cold" too.

G finally responded! He didn't say why he didn't reply sooner... He did apologize which sounded very sincere. He said his intent was not to judge my character or core-self, and he said it was actually a pleasure getting to meet my in our meeting. And he explained his email boundaries much more clearly: I can write however much I want, but after 3 long replies, we'll either switch to a phone call or session since I'm not willing to pay for emails.

A lot to think about and process.

Fin has a public instagram with close to 7k followers.

When I sent that message last week it was the day after he just got back from Spain. He was Turkey when I wanted that session with his partner. He’s currently now in Switzerland.

He’s also done France x2 this year. (Paris and skiing) .

Reminds me of that Fraiser episode where Niles shows Daph the jewellery he’s bought and she says :

“Who'd have thought the mentally disturbed had this much money?”

Who knew crazy pays.

I know I should stop checking his stories, but I’m not there yet.

Seeing someone new at 5.30pm.
