I don't have a fainting couch - I have club chairs and scotch in the library.
Exhankster (fully clothed-) has the rope in the kitchen with Col. Mustard. ATAT has the pipe in the dining room with Prof. Plum. __________________ Please NO @ Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. Meanwhile I'm over in the parlor with Madame Rose and a bottle of wine after we hid the wrench under sd's club chair.

H left about 6 hours ago on a job to El Paso. He won't be home for another 5 hours probably. He didn't say much this morning before he left but was acting like everything is normal like he wasn't all mad last night. I wish I knew how to get over **** as fast as he does.

Also I want to be with whoever Eileen Brennan played in the film—Mrs. Peacock, I think. |

In the Couch movie, which takes place out of time, so anyone is eligible to play a Couchie, I picture Eileen Brennan playing you and Holland Taylor playing stopdog.
I want Olivia Colman to play me. |

She was awesome in Broadchurch.
Holland Taylor might be too snarky to play SD! |

Had a first session with the new young T today. He was fine, gonna need a nickname for him besides regular T and forensics guy... he's different enough from T that I think I can work with him, while seeming interested and involved, plus I think this is my first intake ever where the T hasn't messed up some info I just gave him two sentences prior.

If we're going by resemblance, I was told ages ago that I look a bit like Winona Ryder, so I guess she'd play me? |

Made my first cannabis purchase today. I amused the associate helping me. Questions like, "Would you prefer edibles, flower, or vape?" Me: "I don't know. And I've never used a vape so no idea on that. I used to smoke cigarettes, so I'm OK with that."
I left with some edibles to help with sleep (THC/CBD/CBN mix), two prerolls (that I can put out after a puff or two and reuse), and a disposable vape (I'll need to google how to use that!). She focused on stuff to help anxiety. One she clicked on, she was like,, "oh, that terpene could make you paranoid." Me: "I certainly don't want that! And neither would my husband." She went with prerolls to start because she said if I got flower, then I'd have to figure out how I wanted to smoke it. So this is a good first step. She asked if my H used cannabis, and I said he was like me, where it's been 20-some years. That I'd let him try my stuff. "Oh, that's so cute!" she said. I got a 20% new customer discount and was there on "tax-free Tuesday," so also saved 9% with that. They said that if I find I like cannabis, I should apply for a medical card, as it's easy now and makes it all much cheaper. I will be very careful with this... |

I vape dry herb. The oil carts I am a little too concerned about sketchiness and long term effects. I use a dry herb vape (I have a few at this point) and a water pipe adapter. I never got the hang of the combustion/bong thing - tasted awful to me and the same with joints. Vaping the dry herb tastes a lot better to me. Also -to us- vaping doesn't smell as much or as bad as joints/combustion. I can dose before bed and my partner (she does not use, will cough and choke if I use a combustion method, and goes to bed earlier than I do) can't tell anything in the morning and it isn't on my clothes and such. I have never gotten paranoid. I use edibles some but they are harder to gauge and take longer to kick in. It usually takes 2-3 hours for me to tell when an edible is working.
PSA for those who don't know- don't take more edibles if you think they are not working right away - they can take a couple of hours or so to kick in. Everyone I know who has greened themselves out has done it by taking too many edibles because of impatience - if you do green out - take some cbd and chew on a few peppercorns -Seriously __________________ Please NO @ Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. I've read good things about dry herb vaping. I'll see how this goes and ask about that next time. I do worry about effects of vaping the oil. Right now, I'm trying to figure out whether cannabis is a good fit for me, though I'm sure it will take experimentation. So vaping seems an easy entry point. One of the women who worked there told me about edibles taking a few hours to kick in. She says she'll take on in the morning (for anxiety) and then smoke at night. I appreciate the warning. I was scared off from trying them at one point because of bad stories. |

I vape dry herbs too, I like vapes because they are easier on the lungs, if I lived in a country where it's legal, I'd go for edibles.
No matter what strain you got, if you don't have experiences, for the love of god just take one or two inhales, and then wait for quite a while. 15 minutes or so. Edit: Ive only tried tobacco way after weed, tobacco is like an immediate, short head rush. Thc will hit after a few minutes and might last for an hour or two if you inhale it. Also don't drink at the same time (like beer or smth). |
