Of course I don't know your exact circumstances, but misleading people like that can make it harder. Also, if she knows where you usually go for some appointments (like weekly hairdresser or smth), try to change the schedule around. So she can't follow you to and from.

These seem like good suggestions. Though I'm sorry you know of them from your own situation. I'm glad you're out now.

Thanks CNS. We only have one car, but we definitely could change up our routines different shopping times, different routes. She has a car that eats up a ton of gas, so we're assuming she can't afford to waste gas stalking us. And no one, not even our apartments knows our move out date. And we also got a po box so that she can't track the mail. We thankfully got one right before I filed my court paperwork.

My fear right now is her showing up randomly to get my dad's stuff. Technically, she's allowed on the property because she's my dad's power of attorney. We have boxes in the way of some of his stuff. I hope she waits until after Friday to do anything.

I haven't been sleeping very well since we got home from Oregon on Sunday night. I don't really know why. Usually after a trip I'm so happy to be back in my own bed! I've even been taking melatonin which usually helps. Might try a glass of wine tonight instead...

More changes coming up at work soon. I think by June 1. Yee ****ing ha.

As much as I'm loving this writing poems every day thing, today I've started 4 already that are going nowhere fast. Thank goodness for my fallback form, the Golden Shovel. I can always squeeze one of those out with inspiration from a favorite poet!

Maybe the vino will loose my creativity later, and I can re-visit some from back in January.

I do have a funny story to share. This morning I had a few extra minutes before I had to log onto work so after I got ready, I laid back down on my bed and Penny jumped up on me so I could rub her head. Note: she allows only one hand at a time to pet her. I tried to sneak my left hand up so I could rub her head on both sides and she caught me and gave me this side-eye look before leaping away. It was freaking hilarious and if I had been able to get a picture, it woulda been gold!!

Thanks LT.

Sadly, it's already off to a bad start. I woke up vomiting. I think I have 8 more boxes left to do in an hour. I don't think I'll make it.

Ugh, I'm sorry, Scarlet. Maybe anxiety? Hope you feel better soon and can get the boxes done. Do you have to be out today?

Pretty sure I saw Dr. T with his wife at one of the tables downstairs from his office when I got there about 10 minutes early. They were together, then both stood up (I was in my car--I tend to wait in my care until a few minutes before session so I'm not sitting awkwardly in the waiting room). I've seen her photo before, when she posted in a group I was in years ago, and this woman looked very similar.

I debated whether to say anything, but figured it would be on my mind, so I mentioned it when I sat down. Well, I said, "Were you just sitting outside?" He asked how long ago, and he confirmed that he was. I said I saw him with someone who looked like his wife from the time I'd seen her photo (he knew about that). He didn't confirm or deny that it was her. He did say it was probably the first time I've seen him someplace unexpectedly, which I think is actually correct, so he could understand why it felt a little weird. (And it's actually sort of amazing I haven't run into him otherwise, as he both works and lives 15 minutes away from me.)

I sort of wanted to talk about it more, but felt weird doing so, and it's not like he seemed to be inviting it (like if he'd said, "I'm not saying it was my wife, but if it was, how would that feel?"). So I just moved on to other things. I'll see if it's still on my mind Monday (it's not the sort of thing I'd email about now--maybe a few years ago, I would have, but now I realize it wouldn't be a good idea, and I can just sit with it). Going to a concert tonight, so hopefully that can take my mind off it (though it's 5 minutes from his office, so).

I hope you are able to enjoy the concert despite the proximity to Dr. T's office, LT.

I don't know how I'd feel if I saw R out of context or with family.

Thankfully it's not likely to happen.

It was bad enough when work nearly got her in to provide some training.

It meant that I had to explain her role in my life.

The training was a mess anyway, but for unrelated reasons.

The more Ts I see around this city (500 k more or less, biggest city in Switzerland), the more likely I am to bump into one of them. If I even recognize them (it's hard out of context, seen it recently when I went to surprise a friend), I know I'll just look down in embarrassment until the moment has passed, then bring it up in our next session.

Seeing one's T out in public with their partner or family could definitely bring up a lot of feelings for some clients. I know it would for me. Even when my T just mentions their family I have a reaction. I know my reaction is all about my own family stuff (neglect, abuse, grief, etc) and not about my T... but still. It's important. I'm surprised he didn't at least ask you what that was like for you.

I ran into L a couple times out "in the wild" but both times she was alone, and it was no big deal. The first time we just said a passing "hi" and the 2nd time we chatted pleasantly about nothing while waiting in line at Costco. But I bet that if she hadn't been by herself, I'd have felt weird and pretended that I didn't know her.

I probably would not recognize either of the two women at this point and I know they would not know me but even while seeing them - if I had recognized them out I would have ignored them and if I saw them at their office building outside - it wouldn't even occur to me to care about who they were talking to - made no difference in my life who the therapist talked to

How have I been hanging around this joint nine years and am only learning this for the first?

I thought nothing could top a nekkid No. 3 in the locker room.
