Well this week I am without T, and for the first time I've not try to replace her or forget that I am missing therapy. Infact I actually sit on therapy time and think about what I am missing and with that I also get pleasent thoughts of T. ...Normally I try to pretend I am not missing therapy and try and fix myself in other ways, thinking that makes me stronger...I've discovered, missing T and knowing I'm missing her is what makes me actually stronger...I've not cracked up this week, not had any ugres to attack myself...this is good!!

That sounds wonderful! I remember the last time my T was away before termination, she was gone, I think 3 months! But the first Wednesday my poor body kept wanting to go get in the car when it would normally go to T's. I caught myself and realized what was happening and started to cry instead; always helpful, crying :-) But then I figured out a way to help me for that long period and "enjoy" her being away as a trial termination period for myself.

Mouse that is great! My T is also out this week so I've had an extended time between sessions. My last session didn't feel so great; but it did simulate a lot of thought on my part. I'm finding that I am utilizing this extra time well and hopefully will better prepared to move forward in my next session.

I'm glad you are feeling stronger and more able to acknowledge and accept your feelings.
