K, so my Pdoc's secretary just called and canceled AGAIN! This is the 3rd time out of 4 appointments that have had to be rescheduled. I knew this guy had health probs, but OMGGGGGGOOOOSSSSHHHH!!!
The crappy part is that there are hardly ANY Pdocs in the area that take my insurance.
I have to get more meds, but have to keep what I am doing til I see him....well I don't see him til MAY 8th now!!!
I am sooooo Are you SERIOUS?!?! Are you SERIOUS?!?!
I really wish I could find someone else cuz this is just REDICULOUS!!!

No, he doesn't have anything. At this point I don't know what I am going to do. I go to my physician next monday and I am hoping she can fix my prescription or help me out as the one I have now was one she gave me and not the Pdoc. I had my first appt with him 3 weeks ago and he was supposed to talk to me this time about the meds as I have been going up, steadily, from 25-125mg of Lamictal. Now the only prescription I have left is the one for 90 of the 25mg that my physician gave me and there is no way that will last for one month.
What a mess, huh?!

Oh, I'm glad youjr have your regular physician and she's sort of in the loop and might help. I hope she does. Yes, what a mess. Maybe too she knows of another pdoc that takes your insurance or somewhere else to try.

Actually this seems unprofessional to me. Usually when p-docs cancel, they try and fit clients in within a week. I have never heard of this.

Can you ask to be put on the wait-list?
Or can you call and demand that you get a position given the circumstances and that you need to see the doctor.

I would look for another p-doc.

I am on the cancellation list, but she says it is rare that ppl cancel because it can take so long to get in.

I am going to look for another p-doc and yes, I am so glad my physician is in the loop!

Can you psychiatrist at least call these drugs into the pharmacy so that you have a steady supply until you see him?

I don't know. I will have to ask him because *HE* has yet to prescribe me anything, that is part of the prob! I have this one last script and if I need anything I will call him.
Thanks for the idea!
