My T is amazing regarding phone calls, but I always had this wish that we could do email. I write poetry and I express myself very intenstely through writing.

So today, I was brave. I faced the fear of rejection and asked him for "therapeutic email." He doesn't do email with patients (he doesn't even have a computer at the office) soooo.... he is creating a separate email account on his home computer just for me. I even made up the name of the email address, lol.

He told me that this is fine, as long as I keep doing things to connect with myself in a positive way (such as poetry, artwork, music, etc). This was our "deal."

He told my to take pictures of my most recent pieces of artwork and email them to him since I wouldn't let him keep them today because I need to bring them to group on Tuesday. He took pictures of them on his camera phone in session, lol.

I LOVE MY T. WOW. My own personal email account on T's computer.

And here is something funny that happened: I posted this on Mouse's thread, but I'll post it again because it's just sooo funny. I had rolled up the legs of my pants for T to see my scars. He wanted me to keep them up in an effort for me to learn that I never have to be ashamed in front of him. Everytime I would go to roll them down he would tell me not to. Finally it got to a point where I wanted to show him my artwork and I really wanted to put my pants back to normal. T says, Okay, I know you want to pull down your pants and I won't let you-- so go ahead." We just looked at each other and burst out laughing. He said, "Okay that didn't come out exactly right." Then I said to him, "Okay, let me pull down my pants and show you my artwork." More laughter. He was pretty impressed by that statement, lol. I'm nuts. I think he likes it that way.

At the end T said, "We need four hour sessions!"

Oh how I wish!
