Crystal/Gemstone Therapy

Does anyone know anything about the process of healing through crystals and/or gemstones?

I am intensely drawn to colors in a very emotional way, and was reading a bit about this in a remedy book I had found the other day (it was talking about this in reference to crystals).

Does anyone have any good resources on this?

Any experience or knowlege about this?

I was reading a bit and beginning to understand the properties of certain crystals and what they are to be used for, but no one said anything about what to do when you have the crystal.

My last T... a pysch... went from... a "talk" therapist.... to only crystal and mineral healing.... she.. cut all ties with traditional therapy...

In my city - there is a store.. completely.. devoted to this therapy.. it is very complex... but it does have a sound basis... in the alternative therapy..

I have... minerals.. and crystals.. from my work with her.. when she transitioned...

you do have to maintain your crystals.. and minerals.. by washing them in distilled water and sea salt...

But what do you do with the crystals? What is the process like? Did it help you? I am so interested!

I've done some work with this too... once you wash your crystal, if it is new, you need to have it be in your energy for 30 days - don't let anyone else touch it... it needs to get to "know" your energy.
For healing you can place it over the afflicted area, or keep it in your pocket on low energy days...
My cat has been really sick off and on and he loves curling up on the crystal when he's ill. He's such a muggle cat - I can't even do Reiki on him... but he'll sleep for hours on a crystal and be just fine. Crystals draw out pain and illness. That's why they need to be washed after each use in distilled water/sea salt.
