I'm assuming you mean psychoactive meds? I don't have any but I am paying a lot each month for a new blood pressure med (no generic), even though I have a prescription plan. I didn't include that, though.

For me, it's about $500/month for therapy. How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds?

Oh, yes I mean just psychiatric meds, not medical. Although that sucks if you have both!

Just trying to gage how everyone else is.

Right now I'm just paying for meds so it's about 50-75 depending on how well I take my meds. 2 anti anxiety, 1 anti depressant, 1 muscle relaxer, 1 arthritis medication, and 1 stomach med.

After my T retires and VR stops paying for therapy it could be easily over 500. How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds?

I pay $100 per visit twice a week but almost all of that is eventually reimbursed because I have two insurance plans. The first pays $70 and the other pays about $25.

My meds are about $10/ copay. My Pdoc is $165 but I only see him once every 2 months or so. I don't put in for his visits anymore because they are counted just like therapy visits and I already use up all my allotment in a year.

I will have to pay myself toward the end of the year when my insurance runs out but I'm trying to save for then by working over the summer.

How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds? How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds? How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds? How much do you pay out-of-pocket for therapy & meds?

Right now i pay ZERO. I'm on financial assistance so they only charge my ins (mind, it's cobra so i pay $140 for that a month), and the meds are samples....

$160 weekly for the T, and my meds are about $600 / month. Once I've been on the job for three months I'll get medical insurance again and my meds will be covered 80%. After rent, my T is my biggest expense.
