She was so caring last week, and laid out the truth for me without being judgemental. I really appreciated that.

This week - I'm doing MUCH better - and the first thing she said to me, in the waiting room when she came to get me? She asked me if I lost any weight!! And complimented my new haircut!!!

Yay!!!

That totally made my day. I have only lost 5 pounds, but the fact that she noticed, just, wow.

We had a great session. She is doing my med management and I'm also seeing a therapist, but she does a little bit of therapy too with our med appointments. She is just so genuine, and to the point. Doesn't sugar coat things but is very understanding. I really like her!!

She gave me a hug. I really needed a hug.

She also offered to do marriage counseling as well as individual. I think that will be good, since she already knows my issues.

My therapist is doing good too. He wants to try Hypnotherapy with me. I'm not totally sure, but I said I'd try it for a few times. I was thinking of just dropping him and going with the pnurse, but I think I'll stick with both for a while and see what I want to do.

Coincidentally, my therapist's wife is a physical therapist, and my therapist used to be a personal trainer for body builders (that's how he paid for college for his PhD). His office is in the same place as his wife's pain clinic office. So...he offered to help me with exercising, show me stuff, kinda be my personal trainer. The exercise should help my mood, but also help me tone up & lose weight. And he says I can use their gym for FREE anytime!!! Wow. I was thinkiing of joining the YMCA but now I don't have to!

I'm really feeling good today. Really. Everything is falling into place. Yay!

That is SO COOL! You have some really cool people in your corner!
I think it is really nice of your T to offer you some help with exercises! I need one of him here! LOL

Sounds like things are going well. I am happy for you!
