So today I had an appt. at a different time than usual. When I got to t's about 8 minutes late, the door was locked. I knocked just in case, but I knew he wasn't tere.

I got back in my car and drove home. My phone had been dead since last night so I wasn't able to retrieve messages until just about the time I was pulling into my town. When my phone finally clicked back on, I called T and left a message. Then I checked my messages. He had left a msg. saying he was hoping I was okay. It was clear he had a different time than I did, a half hour before the time I thought.

He called me back and we figured out he screwed up. He apologized profusely.

Guess what? I DID NOT flip out. I didn't yell, I didn't cry. I just used the phone time to talk about my meds issues that I needed his help understanding. Then I wished him well on his weekend journey. (He's taking a professional development weekend,)

SHE WAS SO UNDERSTANDING. I WAS SO MATURE.

Oh.....ha--I told him it was a good thing that this didn't happen the other day when I was feeling invisible, and had a meltdown. Yeah, that would have been awful and I do think he would have paid dearly.

Can you imagine if this had happened last year?
