yeah i dunno where ppl (especially t's) get off being so strange. My first ever t told me - after an entire session of silence because he asked me a question that i dissociated on) "well that was a waste of my time and yours."

Put them right out of your head, fuzzy - they're not worth the breath it took to say those things.

He was probably needing the patient to tell him what to do because of his incompetence.
I recently had a crazy pdoc that i saw an entirety of 3 times. I am thoroughly disgusted with psychiatry for good now.

I'm not saying this is the case here but I've misinterpretated many things my T has said to me. Some times I've ask her right then and there. Other times I've gone home stewing over what ever statement she made trying to figure it out. Then I leave a VM for T; when she calls me back I find out I've totally misread her statement and made-up this whole "story" to go with it. Putting myself through unnecessary emotional turmoil.

Please don't put yourself through this. Ask T what she meant.

Was it that he wasn't a good T overall?
Was it that you felt he snarled when he said it?
Was it that he was correct in his assessment?

Is he still right, if so, is that what sticks in your claw still?

Work through it, and then you can put it away.

Fuzzy you don't deserve a mean therapist ever... unfortunately with all the education therapists often have, there is something that can't be taught and has to be a part of that person.

The ability to love and care for people. He's mussing that very important component.
