I asked T for his colored pencils and paper on Thursday. Although I now carry my own with me, I knew that if I started digging in my purse I would get lost in it. (Plus, on more than one occasion T has asked me to put down the props....aka my purse). LMAO
I have colored in his office many times. The act of putting pencils to paper helps me to organize my thoughts somehow. I am not quite sure of the whys and hows but it really really works! ![]() Once again, this week I began drawing. When session was over and T said the dreaded, "Miss we have to stop" words I frowned and he said, I'm going to publish a book of unfinished drawings done in 45 minutes. We'll see if anyone figures out where it came from." LOL ![]() ![]()

I would have had to come back that if I had more time, they wouldn't have to be unfinished :-)

</font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>

I usually take a clipboard with a pen and draw on it. My T lets me do this, though. It's almost like a shield to me, LOL. How ridiculous is that? Like if I was attacked, do I really think that I'm going to be able to stave it off with my clipboard? I know my T would never attack me, so I don't know from what I'm protecting myself. I still think you should draw a portrait of your T sitting in his chair, frame it, and sell it to him for the price of the portrait plus the frame, LOL. There's no doubt in my mind -- I'm sure he'll buy it and hang it in his office. Then, just like you are forced to look at the assprint of another during your session, if he has other clients (which is against the rules), they would be forced to look at your picture. That solves one problem, Next! |

my pdoc has a painting in his office that i did for him.
![]() i've taken to doodling in session too.. and you're right Miss, it does help me focus. T had wanted me to write down things that were being said, ideas, concepts, quotes.... but it turns out to distract me and i get frustrated. Doodling helps.

while waiting 2 hours in my car one day before t, i broke out the paints i keep in my car (for just such times). I left the painting on her desk and she never knew it that night. Next session she told me she had my painting on her wall at her home office. =)
Don't just sell it for the portrait and frame - include your session fee in it too!!! ![]()
