Are you doing therapy with this nurse? I would prefer that I stay in the safe environment of an office. But that is just me. Hope these visits help you.

Let us know how they go.

Cooooooooool. Hey, sounds like fun at least. Home Visit :O Home Visit :O I find that going to a clinic sometimes is so hard and dull and talking is easier outside of an "office" sometimes. I used to grab a coffee with a person who became my first T and we'd just have a social chat. I'd have not trusted her otherwise. Then again... it wasn't ever intended that I'd ever become a client of hers! It was just for fun ... she did her internship at a drop-in centre on my university (chaplaincy) ... was fun, and you really see that they're human beings and not just clinicians of sorts. Then I actually became a client, and those coffee chats had to stop (obviously!) ... but it's still a good memory.

That does sound fun. The only thing I don't know about is if it will feel uncomfortable for me - because of a new environment every session. I suppose it's just going to take a little bit of getting used to; I am shy - it's a part of my personality.

Well, is there any place where you're less shy (you think) outside of your house? Probably want to steer clear of any populated areas ... but beyond that, I do hope it works out for you. Home Visit :O
