I had a nice session with T today. I told him it felt good to breathe and smile for a change, after the intensity of our recent sessions.

Before I saw T, I had ANOTHER medical test for this ongoing undiagnosed scary issue. I told him about the test and how it went, and that I would have the results on Thursday, but my appt with T is at 9 on Thursday, so I won't know anything until after my appt.

He left me a message about our session (we always do that) and at the end of the message, he said that we would have to find a way to connect up later in the day on Thursday so he could find out what happened with my test.

I feel like....T cares! I mean, I know he does care, but sometimes it's just little things like that that mean a lot. Like, I matter to him even outside of our 2 hours together each week. That feels good.

I know those sessions after hard work! I recall saying to T, "I just need to experience us in this space."
I remember when I had to have a biopsy and T asked me to make sure I called to let him know how it went; and when I had surgery he called me! It's amazing when we realize that we exist for them outside of the session time. It's so gratifying, and validating and makes the relationship that much more real.

((earthmama)) I hope you are feeling better soon.

Sounds like a wonderful session. Sending you positive intentions for your testing and soon to come results.

Your T is great.

Let me know how the results go. I was told they thought I had cancer when I was 13--- I didn't!

If the test results in a positive diagnosis of something, MAKE SURE to get a second independent opinion ASAP!!!!!
