I was wondering if anyone else experienced problems in t where things get mixed up ? I seem to lose alot of my sessions in that words etc from my t end up getting twisted, i know she's ok, i seem to have no control tho on what she's said when i'm in there and when i look back at sessions i see her in different positions around the room, she never ever moves so i don't get whats going on. Anyone else experienced this or am i stir crazy ?

I apologise for mainly coming here for support and not offering much support at the moment, I will, when I feel I have something positive to contribute to you all

Hi queenie. Coming here for support is what it's all about. You do contribute when you post!

I have experienced this also.

In my recalling the session afterwards, I 'saw' her in a different place in the room and she always sits in the same place. That session she was writing, something she only does if I am telling her about a dream although this was about a trauma. Anyway, in my recollecting, she is writing with the opposite hand than she actually uses to write.

In another recalling of the session, she kept appearing in my mind as a much much younger woman.

I also will 'hear' her in my recollections as sounding different--angry, irritated, mocking, etc.

I guess it's good that we know that there is a discrepancy, that it's something our mind is doing. It's interesting to explore in therapy, so I encourage you to share what you wrote with here with your therapist and the two of you can see where that takes you.
Thanks for this!

Hi queenie, I'm smiling as I read your post. Lol, I completly understand what you are talking about when you said looking back on sessions t is in different positions but never moves irl. This has happened to me many times. T is speaking to me from far away, T is very close, T is speaking to me from my right side, T is speaking to me from my left side and there is no left side, only a wall. Wonder what this is all about. Anyway I had to laugh when I read this. Nice to know it's not just me.

I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to offer much support at this time. I'm working on that myself. Good luck with your treatment. Hope all goes well for you.
