This morning I wrote an email to T, as I was feeling in a low place due to problems with my daughters "EX" possive boyfriend....it wasn't helped by the lad next door having a brick thrown through his window YET AGAIN,. I thought in the dark that it was my home and I think I've spoke before how as a child my home was the target of a revenge hit for over a yr until who ever was doing realised they'd got the right street but wrong Green door..the police said as the written death threats were not in my families name there wasn't anything they could do, let alone the bricks that were thrown through my bedroom window so I had to sleep downstairs for a yr..I was about 10 and my father was night work and never there and my mother appear powerless also, so I learnt to "forget" my fears, accept they still bubble around within now and as you can see, yesterdays incident played very nicely into all of this and I Just felt useless this morning, guess I was imagining my daughter was feeling as abandoned as I was by my parents in their inablity to help or soothe my fears at any time so i wrote T and said how i was feeling and she replied and said she wasn't sure how safe I was and infact I Needed to be there with her session..she said about how the feeling was to do with how I did feel alone as a child...and she said she felt she wasn't being very helpful as email was limited but I wrote back after and said just getting that familiar blue reply comforted me and that I would go for a walk..the walk helped and I wrote and thanked her for her "Familiar BLUE replys" and I got a reply from her saying "you are welcome, sorry about this not being blue but i'm on my mobile :>" the smile that crossed my face reading that...she said also that it was good that I could reach out for comfort and get it...she's right, I can't tell you how comforting that blue reply is and can be at times...and to think she's got a sense of humour too
