Hi, I've had bi polar disorder and borderline personality disorder for over 10 years now and for the first time i'm doing really well, but, I've just started a new relationship (8 weeks) he was diagnosed a week ago with multiple personality disorder we both new this was coming from the begining but now i'm starting to worry that we could be bad for each other or rather what we "have" could be bad for each other. Is anyone else in or has been in the same position? We don't want to split up but at the same time we don't want to come to a bad ending down the line. Any advice?

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the conditions of both you and your bf, but if I understand it correctly, so long as you both are taking the required prescriptions for your conditions then it should be alright.
I was thinking, perhaps seeking some counselling for the two of you in order to guide you both correctly through this? I hope the best for the both of you, and so long as this is a mutual choice of yours, you are right for eachother, then all should work out alright. I wish you both the best. Shangrala ![]()
