I have been dating a fellow for about 5 months now. He knows about my schizophrenia but I have troubles telling him if I'm having symptoms. I tend to avoid talking to him if I am experiencing anything unusual. Is there any tips on how I can broach the subject with him?

Does he bring this up to you when he sees something wrong?

I think you should be honest about everything and get it all in the open. If he still accepts you, and most lkely he will, it would be great for both of you. If you hold something back, it may frighten or confuse him.

it took a lot of guts for me to tell my boyfriend about what was going on with me...

But I have now. and I'm never going back. Having that openness is a major benefit to the relationship.

So maybe try steeling up, and just going for it.

I would just say be open with him. It will be hard at first but im sure that he would want you to be open with him.
