my son came over the other day and fixed my computer, alls good
but he brought the baby and left the nappie bag...this somehow turned into my fault and when i rand him today to tell of good news about his computer work, he hardley wanted to talk to me, i could hear it in his voice...and thenhe said concerning news....I really dont care mum and hung up. Me being borderline and oversensitive....this cut right through me and made me want to s.h. which i didnt but he just hurt me so much as i do heaps of helpful things for them. Am i being too sensitive?....I didnt s.h. but had to take double lot of xanax which im trying not to use an having a real battle, but couldnt handle the pain. Any thoughts? roxyanne1

Family relationships are hard!
My mom came and stayed with us when I had my first daughter (now 9). While I felt supported, my husband felt it was an invasion. Depending on how young your grandchild is, he may be working on bonding with them. We women get to bond with the baby as it grows inside us. Our men don't get to bond with them until they are born, and that can take a while. I understand why you feel the way you do, but keep in mind too that he has a lot on his plate as a new dad. He is distracted by building his own family right now. Try not to take it too personally and it will get better! ![]()
