Hello, my first time posting. So I am at the beggining of a long distance relationship(2 weeks today since I left her). She is on the complete other side of the country(me in New York her in Alaska) and won't see her until October. I know she loves me and I talk to her everyday on the phone but well I hate phones and I'm having a hard time with that being our only contact...i have e-mailed her a few times but it's not so easy for her to get internet access. I find myself worrying randomly about stupid things. I realize that four months is not a long time in the scheme of things but I dont have those constant love re-enforcements like touching and kissing. I would like to be happy and not feel so uneasy but whenever she pops into my head(a common occurence) I don't get happy rather I think/miss/worry about her. I guess it will just take time and getting used to the current situation for me to feel better but damn I miss her. Any tips?

There are long distance relationships that work...get creative, write poems about her and read them on the phone, send flowers, tell her what you would do together if you were together, send snail mail, send pictures, and tell her you wish she were in them. Halt any negative thoughts and realize that yes, you will see her again.

Maybe give it some time and get one of you to live with eachother to see eachother more. No rush lond distance romance can sometimes seem so hard but infact it give you some space. You missing her which doesn't help you need to be excited that you are going to see her again. Good you are use some commincation to help you talk again. Here are commincations you can try.... home phone talking, mobile phone texting, messengers email, handwritting letters to home, walkie talkies, pagers that goes peep etc...
