If someone doesn't want to be with you why don't they just say so. What is the point of treating them disrespectfully and mean until they break it off and then why do they get to be mad because you broke it off. I don't understand. Treat me right and I'll stay with you but treat me badly I cont do that to myself. I just wish they would end it themselves or be nice. So why don't they just end it if they aren't going to be nice.

If I understand you correctly...
You were with someone who treated you with great disrespect, apparently not acting as thought wanting to be with you. After deciding that you wouldn't tolerate that kind of disrespect you broke it off. Then the person became upset BECAUSE you broke it off? Is that correct? If I understood you correctly, it's my best guess that maybe that person was the controlling sort...needing to degrade/disrespect in order to feel superior. Often times, expressed anger for not having control is a good indication that this kind of person just may be a control freak. Good for you for not tolerating disrepect. From the sounds of it, you're better off without this person, and you knew it. Shangrala ![]()

Thank you shangrala. I'm trying to be strong about this whole thing. But I'm faltering and having trouble letting go. I've talked to everyone I know and some twice I'm sure and they all say the same thing. Yet I find myself wanting him back. I don't know how that's supposed to work. I just wish I could erase him from my head so I cld stop fretting over the whole ordeal.
