I am feeling really depresed and hopeless, me and my boyfriend have been togeather 7 years and have 2 kids togeather. I am battling my Borderline Personality disorder and it seems that things may just not work out with us. I love him dearly and I know he loves me, our communication has broken down in the past few months and it seems we either don't talk or we end up fighting. Leaving is the last thing I want to do, however I can't live like this forevor and it is not fair for our kids either. We try and try to be nice and are walking on egg shells, i just don't know what to do next. Maybe we are too far gone to be saved or to come back to be a normal functioning couple again. I am at such a loss for what to do. ANyone else have experiance with this in their relationship?

I think your best bet is CBT therapy. I hear that CBT therapy does help a lot of BPD individuals. I wish you the best.

Ah, The Byz found a great link about CBT. You said you have been battling with BPD, what techniques have you been using so far? Was also wondering if you have been seeing a T?

Yes I have been seeing a therapist. I have been doing DBT, however with 2 kids under the age of 3 I rarely get a moment to myself to even think! Thaks Byz, I will check that out!
