This afternoon with out a second thought I told my kids they could stay the night with my mom. I thought it would be nice to enjoy a night at home with my fiance (their dad). We go out with friends but rarely do we have the night to ourselves. I sent him a text at work saying "how about a date tonight? The kids are sleeping over at mom's" his responce "well jee its only their last night of spring break and I for once don't have to work" I said I was sorry I could call my mom and tell her maybe next weekend. He said no that would just upset the kids. Then he wanted to know when she was coming for them. I told him not until he got home because there carseats were in the car. He said he could take them when he got home and he would go to a liquidation sale at the local fair ground near her house. I said ok and asked if I could ride (I sprained my ankle a few days ago.) I would just sit in the car with my book while he was looking. Then he asked why I would want to sit in the car while he was looking. I told him I just wanted out of the house for a little while. He said no. An hour later when he got home from work he wouldnt speak to me. Now its 4 hours later. He's taken the kids to my moms gone to the sale and come home. He's still not talking. I'm sitting on the couch and he's banging things around "cleaning" the house. I feel like I've made a mistake I said I was sorry he grunts and keeps doing what he was before. Is it just me or is there something else going on?

Hello, DangerMagnet. I am wondering if he had something planned to do with the children tonight. Even if that is the case, his pouting is a bit much. I do not think you did anything wrong.

It was last night. He's still not talking to me to day. I just want to understand why he's not talking to me. We've been together for almost 12 years. This is the longest we've ever gone with out talking. It scares me. Thanks for the support.
