My mother doesn't like my fiance. At first, she loved him, and thought he was a gentleman and treated me great, but she, just, up and changed her mind, and now she says he is not good enough for me and is a selfish pig. He is definitely not a pig, and he is too good to me in my opinion. For example, if he wants me to go somewhere to support him, he will give me money for food, take me there and home, along with asking some of my friends to go to keep me company if he can't be with me the whole time. My mom doesn't see this, I don't think, so she hates him and wants me to break up with him for her sake. I have no intentions of doing that, and I do choose him over her since he treats me so much better and actually cares about my feelings. My only problem is the stress she is causing. She makes me so upset that when my fiance tries to calm me down and get me to talk about it with him, I end up blaming him for something and fighting for no reason. I feel absolutely horrible about this, and I need to reduce all that stress just a bit, so I can prevent that from happening. I don't know how though. Does anyone have any suggestions?
