My ex and I have been having sex and I am now regretting it. He keeps telling me that he wants to date me, will treat me nicer because I dont deserve the way he has treated me. He promised to help me some of my household projects that need to be done. Well, he hasnt followed through with these promises. I took a drive to his house to talk to him, I did text him first, so he had time to tell me no if he didnt want me there. He never responded to the texts. When I got there, he was grilling and his kids were outside. He didn' t want me, told me he had a date coming over! I was so upset, asked him if everything he said was a lie. He said he doesnt know what he wants!! Why would he hurt me like that? He knows that I still love him and would take him back. I think that was a very cruel thing to do. He said I was going to get him in trouble and I needed to leave! He must be in a relationship with this girl, I would love to tell her so that he would be alone and miserable!! I cant seem to move, tried dating someone. But I dont want another man kissing me, let alone haveing sex! I am so confused and hurt!

Why would he hurt you like that? For the same reason he is your ex. Don't bother regretting the past, just learn from it. It is not going to work with this man. Get another interest, meet new people, move on in your life.

Life can be so hard at times. I hope you are able to start jettisoning the baggage from the ex.

Good luck.

I too know the battle of just not being able to accept when a relationship is bad and needs to be ended. His actions are speaking louder than his words unfortunately.

Find yourself a nice group of girlfriends to hang out with and cut him totally out of your life. Block his number off your phone, do NOT contact him. It will take a good few months of not seeing him, or speaking to him before your heart and soul accepts this.
And running back for sex is very hurtful. the bonds between you get renewed every time. As nice as it is, you need to stop doing this

As everybody said here....you are better off without him....

I think the difference between genders is that guys are moving on so fast after a relationship while girls aren't.....in most of the cases!

It's better to choose a right person to kiss rather than kissing lots of frogs!

My heart is with you.....

It's been a year that I broke up with my ex-bf....he went through at least two relationships that I'm aware of, while I dated just a guy and no sex even!

But the good news is that as time goes by, his memory will fade in your mind....you just got to let it happen....and stop all the contacts with him....It looks like he's using you for x.

ya move on from this guy.
don't have any contact with him. he is playing with you and doesn't intend to be faithful to you.
You are bright and intelligent and can do better than him. join a class to take your mind of things like a sewing or knitting group where yoiu can meet other women and have some social support. I don't think you need ot meet men right now as you are still hurting. Just look for some good girlfriends to chat with.
take care.

Thanks for all the advice, he has broken my heart and doesnt even care! He owes me money yet and he will probably never pay it! I told the other girl he was sleeping with me and she doesnt believe me! He is good at lying and has convinced her that I am crazy! I am not going to contact him and I hope it I can forget him! I really thought he was the one. I am just so sad and depressed. I feel horrible. I hope this passes quickley!!
