Hi!

I know very little about narcissism, having quite different problems myself. But the issue of narcissism has been raised in my life by the probability that my mother was an N. I have a specific question about that, which I hope some of you could react to. Can you generalize on the effect of a narcissistic mother, the youngest of four daughters (no brothers), on a male child up to 18 months? No empathy. No intersubjectivity. No attunement.

The folks in the narcissism forum said that the relationships forum would be the correct place for this post.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Take care.

Hello Ygrec,

I think this should be answered by the N thread...a N parent is not the run of the mill relationship so I would suggest that by observing the behaviours of the N; you will get more information than posting in the relationship thread,

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
